Where do you ship?
Orders will only be shipped to valid street addresses within the contiguous 48 states of the United States of America or the District of Columbia. • We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, and all military APO, AFO and military bases. • We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.
How long will it take to get my order?
Orders are typically delivered within 5 - 8 business days. Actual delivery time depends on shipping distance and may vary. Delivery to some remote addresses may require up to 2 additional days.
Why was my credit card sharged more than the purchase amount?
During the credit approval/confirmation process, your credit card is not charged for your order. The pending transaction that you see is a pre-authorization charge. The final charge, where we will take the funds from your credit card, will happen once the item has shipped. What are the differences in the shavers?
Series 3 is the entry-level shaver we have, and they provide a clean & close shave and can also smooth your skin. Series 5 has Easy Clean which enables you to rinse the shaver clean without taking it apart. It also introduces AutoSense Technology, which detects your beard and adapts power necessary to cut beard hairs. Series 6 adds to AutoSense Technology by giving SensoFlex, a 20 degree pivoting head to maintain better contact with skin allowing more efficiency. Series 7 continues to have AutoSense Technology and builds on that with an even more flexible head called the 360 Flex, which pivots 20 degrees front to back and 10 degrees side to side. Series 8 moves AutoSense Technology forward with increased power for an easier shave. How long should a Braun product last?
Our expectation is that our appliances should last at least 3-5 years depending on how often they are used. Most of our products have a 2-year warranty starting at the date of purchase. Will I need to buy a new cutter?
A Braun shaver foil and cutter should last up to 18 months, depending on: your shaving method, your beard type, good cleaning, and maintenance of the foil/cutter cassette.
How long should my battery last?
Generally, the battery in a Braun shaver should last between 3 to 5 years if you use and care for the shaver properly.
How do I change the battery in my device?

Are Braun products waterproof that I can use them in the shower or bath?
All Braun shavers are watertight which means the shaver head can be rinsed under running water for easy cleaning. However, ONLY Braun shavers that are specifically designated as Wet & Dry (W&D) models can be used in the shower or bath. The Wet & Dry models have an automatic shut-off mechanism to ensure the appliance works only when the cord is not plugged in, meaning there is no risk of electric shock. Seeing is believing right? What does CC, CS or S mean on the Braun product descriptions?
• “cc” models indicate that the shaver comes with a Clean & Charge station. • “s” or solo models indicate the shaver comes with a charger only and does not include the Clean & Charge station. • “Wet & Dry” is indicated on some models and it means the shaver can be used in the shower. • "cs" models indicate that the shaver comes with a charging stand.

How do I use my IPL?
Here are some simple steps on how to use Braun Silk-expert Pro: Step 1: Remove all visible hair in the area you wish to treat with your preferred hair removal method. If desired, the Braun Silk-expert Pro includes a Venus razor for easy surface hair removal. Ensure there is no hair remaining above the surface of the skin. Then pat your skin dry. Step 2: select the standard head or the precision head depending on the size of the area you wish to treat. Plug in the Braun Silk-expert Pro. Step 3: Put the nozzle in full contact with the skin to make sure the product works correctly. If the light flashes white, a valid skin tone is detected. If not in proper contact with the skin, the device will not flash. In the case of a red light, there is not full contact or it is an invalid skin tone. Step 4: For larger body areas use gliding mode: hold down the treatment button and glide along your skin. For smaller areas, press and release the treatment button. For sensitive areas or if it’s your first time, you can use the gentle or extra gentle mode. Step 5: It is important to wipe clean the nozzle after every use. Step 6: In the first phase of your treatment, treat once a week for 4 - 12 weeks. Then adjust to your needs (i.e. every 1-2 months).
Will an IPL work with my skin and hair color?
IPL is not suitable for everyone. It is most effective on light to medium skin tones with hair ranging from natural blonde to dark brown or black. The device is not effective on very blonde, red, grey, or white hair where the smaller amount of melanin would not absorb the light energy. Here is a chart to help with skin tones and body hair type:
Do I need to stay out of the sun before IPL?
If your skin tone got darker due to artificial or natural tanning and your skin does not suffer from any irritation, the Braun Silk-expert Pro device can be used as it will automatically adjust the energy level to the safest and most efficient level, and will also tell you should your skin have become too dark for treatment.
Can men use IPL?
Men can use the Braun Silk-expert Pro IPL from the shoulders down (chest, back, arms, stomach, legs). It should not be used on the face, neck, or genital area. Use on male beards or facial hair may lead to uneven results.
Is IPL suitable for intimate areas?
IPL is safe for use on the bikini line, but it isn’t suitable for the genital area where the skin may have a darker color and where there is a greater hair density, which would absorb more light energy and may cause discomfort.
Can I use IPL on my face?
Braun Silk-expert Pro is safe for use on the face below the cheekbones. It shouldn’t be used near the eyes and along the forehead. It works effectively on the upper lip, chin, and jawline. We recommend doing a patch test before use.
How long will it take to see IPL results?
We recommend a start-up phase of 4-12 weekly treatments to achieve optimum results. If you no longer see hair growing, you do not need to complete the full 12 weekly treatments. You can switch to maintenance treatments. The typical hair growth cycle varies between individuals and could take up to 18-24 months, depending on body area (underarm, lower leg and bikini area can take the most time). Since only hairs in their growing phase are susceptible to treatment with light, it is important to do multiple treatments to achieve continuously smooth skin.
How should I care for my skin after IPL?
We recommend avoiding exposure to artificial light sources, such as tanning booths or solariums. Avoid any activity or skin products that may irritate your skin for 24 hours after treatment. This includes using hot tubs or saunas, wearing tight- fitting clothing, using bleaching creams, perfumed products or peeling products.
Do I need to stay out of the sun after IPL?
After treatment, we recommend using sunscreen SPF 15 whenever treated areas may be exposed to the sun.
Do I need to use gels or buy replacement lamps for my IPL?
Braun Silk-expert Pro works without the need of additional lotions or gels and there is no need to purchase replacement lamps.
Is IPL safe for my eyes?
The Silk-expert Pro is perfectly safe. There is no need to wear goggles when using the device. The skin contact sensors ensure that the device can only be triggered when in contact with the skin.
Can I recycle my clean and renew container?
The Braun Clean & Renew container (cartridge) is not recyclable; it can be placed out for regular garbage/rubbish pick-up. The cleaning fluid is safe for the environment when disposed of.
Is the Braun shaver foil recyclable?
Braun foils are 100% made of galvanized nickel and can be recycled.
How should I throw away my product?

What happens when I send my product in to the Service Center?
Once the Service Center receives your appliance, they'll confirm whether it's in warranty or out of warranty. If it's in warranty, a technician will test the unit to see if it's faulty. This is done using special testing devices created by our Braun Research & Development team. If the appliance is defective, it will be repaired and then returned to you. If no defect is found, your product will be returned with a note stating it works within manufacturer's specifications. It's important to note that this is not a cleaning or refurbishing service, it's strictly a warranty process. Any non-defective product will be returned in the same condition it was received. If the product is determined to be out of warranty, the Service Center will contact you directly to see if you want to proceed with the repair/service.
