How to shave with an electric razor

  1. Step 1 – Charge your electric shaver

Make sure your shaver is charged and ready to go.

  2. Step 2 – Shave before you wash your face

Try to shave before you wash your face, since the skin tends to be slightly swollen after washing.

Now, turn the Braun shaver on. Stretch the skin with your free hand before you shave extra sensitive areas or ones that need a closer shave. This ensures a smooth glide across the skin.

  5. Step 5 – Hold the shaver at a right angle

Hold the shaver at a right angle (90°) to your skin and shave against the direction of beard growth. Also keep in mind that avoiding going over the same areas over and over again increases your chances not to have skin irritation.

  6. Step 6 – Keep the pressure even

Keep the pressure even to achieve the best possible shave. No need to push as hard as you do with a manual razor.
