Disappointment

I was so happy with my Braun series 7 until I had to replace the foilWaiting for 4 months now. Just read some reviews on the new foils.Terrible reviews- from so many people.Could not find anything where Braun is trying to explain what is the root cause for either the shortage and qaulity problems. Look like they have accepted they are going down the drain.Sorry but if you cannot back up your product,maintain qaulity and provide spares your good name you had is in the mud.I will not buy a Braun again.

I'm Leaving, too.

After all these years! Recently, the Braun Customer Service directed me to their sales website. It originally said the heads were out of stock but would be available around April 14. Just before that day, I see the website saying they won't be available till May 19. I guess next week they'll say they won't be available till June 20. The cost of a replacement head is equivalent to the price of a new shaver from some of their competitors. Since the replacement heads are so costly and so difficult to find, I give up on Braun. I'll no longer need the cleaning refills either.

No replacement cassettes and finish is peeling off

I've used Braun shavers for the past 10 years. Four or five years ago, I purchased a Series 70 shaver with the cleaning system. Shaved great and had no problem finding replacement cutter heads. But after about two years, the finish started peeling off the shaver in a line at the same angle as the cleaning system. Figuring this was a fluke, I replaced it less than two years ago. Lo and behold, the finish has started peeling off just like the old one and, after repeated searches over several weeks, there are no replacement cassettes anywhere, even at the website shown on one of these reviews from March 2017.For the prices Braun charges, you'd think the quality of the shaver and the availability of cassettes with an 18 month replacement recommendation would never be a problem. Wish I had my old Remington back the first braun replaced. Now looking for a new shaver, but not a braun.

No replacement parts? Really!

In order for me to get a replacement foil and cutter I have to pay $89 on another site because Braun no longer provides them. They make a great product, but you still need to change out the blades. I will not purchase another Braun product again.

Series 7 on back order for 6 months???

I just wrote to Costco to tell them to stop selling these razors. I can't get a replacement shaver cassette. On back order for 6 months now. They never contact me to tell me so. These are not available in Walgreens or similar any longer. Prices have doubled and tripled in a couple of years. I will toss my shaver and use Harry's I believe....

Can't Find Replacement Heads Anywhere!

Can't find these replacement heads anywhere and I barely have my Braun Series 7 790 for a year. Waste of money I'm noticing. Too bad I loved my Braun Razor and now it will just sit there might have to throw it since i won't be able to even sell it! I'm moving to Panasonic Arc5 Electric Razor which seems to be 2nd place to Braun and I found replacement heads easy for Panasonic. If you're a Braun Fan just be prepare to buy around 5 replacement heads in advance if you see them in stock for your Braun to last more years at least. I learned my lesson with Braun. I'm sure I'm not the only mad customer here, mostly everyone has this same issue.

Terrible stock quantity and quality control

My husband purchased this product after giving the 5 to our son. The new razor heads only last him about 3 months and now the cost is astronomical. Looks like P&G wants to push customers to other companies. I called to complain and got the excuse that it is the most widely used razor and so they ran out of shaving heads. A company with good management and good forecasting should be able to run their manufacturing much more efficiently. I absolutely would not recommend this product nor would I purchase any stock of this company as obviously it suffers from poor management.

Goodbye Braun after 20+ years as a customer

I bought a series 7 shaver last year, after having used Braun shavers (series 3,5) for at least the past 20 years. This series 7 is absolutely the best shaver I have ever owned. But now reading of the unavailability of replacement heads and the inferior quality compared to the head that comes with the shaver, I am giving up on the Braun brand. I came here to shop for a shaver for my dad, but will not be getting him a Braun. Shame on P&G for ruining a once wonderful brand to make a few more dollars profit.
