IPL hair removal, (Intense Pulsed Light) is a broadband pulsed light source that emits gentle pulses of light for the treatment of unwanted hair. The Braun Skin i·expert IPL connects to The Braun Skin i·expert IPL app via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi technology. Once connected, the app guides you step by step through the hair removal process, including assessing your hair and skin needs, so that you can achieve up to 1 year of smooth skin. This product includes attachments to tackle different parts of the body:

The Braun Skin iExpert IPL app works with PL7387 , PL7243, and PL7219. Older IPL models will not work with the app.

Download the Braun Skin I Expert App here, Apple Store and Google Play Store .
Step 2
Open app, plug in and turn on IPL, and turn on Bluetooth.
Step 3
Pair the IPL with the app and go through the app setup process.

IPL won’t damage your skin when used appropriately, even on sensitive areas! Braun IPLs use SensoAdapt technology that automatically and continuously adjusts the flash power to your skin tone. It won’t flash if the skin tone is not suitable for IPL.
Yes, Braun IPL devices have been built with your safety in mind. The skin contact sensors ensure that the device can only be triggered when in contact with the skin and the light you see that is visible during treatment is perfectly safe. There is no need to wear eye protection when using Braun IPL but some people prefer to wear sunglasses during their treatments.
Men can use Braun IPL on chest, back, arms, stomach, and legs. It should not be used on the face, neck, or genital area. Use on beards or facial hair may lead to uneven results. It should not be used by pregnant women or teenagers as it has not been tested among these groups.
If your skin tone gets darker due to artificial or natural tanning and there is no skin irritation, then you can use Braun IPL! It will automatically adjust the energy level to suit your skin tone. It will also tell you if your skin has become too dark for IPL.
For 24 hours after IPL treatment, we recommend avoiding exposure to artificial light sources (tanning booth, solarium) and activities or skin products that may irritate your skin. Use sunscreen SPF15 when treated areas may be exposed to sun.
You'll start to see results in as soon as 3 weeks; however, we recommend weekly treatments for 12 weeks to achieve optimal results. Once you've completed the 12 weeks, we recommend monthly maintenance treatments.
