Perfect Epilator for Beginners

This was my first time using an epilator. At first, I didn't like it because I didn't fully understand how to use it. Then after reading the manual again, I was missing a step. I have always been curious about trying an epilator hair remover. I've never even used any type of electric razor either! Crazy, right? I was a little wary if trying this, and the directions say to try it for the first time at night, in case you get a lot of redness. Yikes. But. Everything went fine? Easy peasy. No redness or irritation, and I didn't even hurt myself, lol. I have rheumatoid arthritis, and neuropathy in my hands. So shaving can be a challenge sometimes, trying to hold onto a razor, maneuver it, not drop it, not cut myself. The larger size of this Silk-Epil by Braun is WAY easier for me to hold onto properly, giving me more precise control. For a #Spoonie girl like me, this is a new essential now! It wasnt painful, removed all of my leg hair, and my legs stayed smooth twice as long. The small trimmer that comes with this set was amazing on the bikini area - I wish I'd known about this sooner!!

First Time User, Now Hooked

While I have used electric shavers before this was my first time using an epilator. I will fully admit, I was a touch intimidated. After receiving it I readily used the shaver and and bikini styler (that is going to get a TON of use come summer) and they both worked like a dream. That in itself had me sold on the product. Being a first time user in the epilator world I found the directions to be a little confusing but after perusing the web for instructions that clicked a bit better in my mind, I decided to jump in and I will fully admit the worry about the pain was was way worse than the actual experience. I have fairly sensitive skin so I did take my legs a few days to recover the first time using it, but after the 3 go around the irritation was nearly nonexistent. While I am still working out the user kinks and getting to know this device, I will say I am greatly impressed with how well it works and might consider cutting off my current razor subscription in the very near future. I absolutely see why an epilator is a better option in my hair removal routine.

Hair Beware

This is my first time using an epilator, and there is a little bit of a learning curve. If you are experienced then it's likely you will not experience any discomfort. Even though it is a little painful, it is well worth it. I am able to go longer between shaves, which I love. There are lots of attachments for shaving different areas, which really gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

New to epilators.

I'm new to using epilators, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I received the Braun Silk-epil 5-810. This isn't a product that I would use all the time, but I would use it once in a while. I like that the Braun Silk-epil 5-810 comes with a few extra products and basically a 'new to using epilators' tool to make the transition of using one much easier. I have thicker/coarse dark hairs and it did work well to remove them. I do find it to be a tad on the expensive side, but I guess it does come with a lot of items, so it probably isn't all that expensive in the end. I've only used it a couple of times, but I get the gist of how it works and the fact that it does work. So, for that reason alone, I would highly recommend the Braun Silk-epil 5-810.
