Braun recommends changing your shaver’s foil & cutter block every 18 months to maintain your shaver’s maximum performance. For a perfect shave every day.

Why Braun? You make great shavers, I love my 7505, but I could tell from the moment I began shaving with this new replacement, it was worse than my nearly 3yr old cutter! What's up with such an inferior product?
Like everyone else who's reviewed this, if I can't find an older model cutter, I'll have to switch to a different brand. Doesn't the company read the reviews, here & on Amazon, no one is happy with this new version, wake up, fix it, quick!
No, I do not recommend this product.
I used to get over a year from a cutter/foil set and the new 30B Series 3 barely last 3 months and the new foil is brutal if the hair is past a day long from blade razor. I so loved the razor before because it was one of the only ones that actually give you a close shave. The new 30B cutters have been redisigned to wear out quickly and not treat your face well. Going back to blades and shaving cream. I will pay $50 for a quality refill, forget about trying to hit a price point, just make a quality product.
I love my 7526 Synchro, but this latest foil/cutter combo redesign is awful. My shave time has increased dramatically, especially on my neck, and the results are not nearly as close or comfortable. This foil/cutter only lasted 3 months before developing a large hole in the foil. I don't believe it is a defective set, so I don't have high expectations for a replacement set. I may have to switch to another razor.
I have beenusing a 7570 for 15+ years and it still works flawlessly....untill now.
I purchased the 30B replacement foil and cutter, as it is now the replacement for my shaver. It does not shave my beard. it tugs and pulls and barely cuts 2 or 3 hairs. This different design is horrible.
I am glad I did not throw out the old cutter block.
Braun why did alow such utter garbage to be sold as a replacement?
A 10cent disposable razor shaves better.
Unless I can find an old style cutter and foil I will have to throw away a perfectly good shaver and go to a different brand like Remington or Panasonic.
The picture shows the older (and better) blade type. The newer blades being sold as 30B have "fat" blades with smaller gaps between them. They cut more slowly and less closely. Their price also dropped quite a bit, but the savings is not worth it. If I cannot find the old style blades I'm switching to Panasonic.
I have been a Braun Series 7 fan for many years.
Recently I bought a new foil and cutter block for my four year old razor.
The new foil makes the razor so noisy as to be undesirable to use and the cutting performance is way below par.
Expensive razor, expensive cutting block; very poor quality and performance. Not what I would expect from Braun.
Very rugged and chaffing shave. Ripped rather than smoothly shaved my face. Throwing away for Panasonic razor. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
I have been using Braun shavers for more than 25 years. My current shaver (7000 series) uses the 30B re-fill. This cutter/foil has been re-designed to obviously save on manufacturing costs. Braun apparently wants to produce inferior products and thinks this is a viable business model. Shame on the corporate executive who made this decision
